Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Chasing a goal

What do you do when you're chasing a goal late on?

Usually I try to up the team mentality to very attacking, timewasting to rare, individual forward runs of fullbacks and midfielders on often, closing down often etc. If I have someone who's very strong in the air I might put him up as targetman and play long balls to the head.

Usually all of this has a very limited effect however, apart from conceding more often. The AI on the other hand often seem to be able to put you under considerate pressure if the team you play are a strong or decent side. Even though they might not score, they always seem to be buzzing like flies around your penalty area in the closing minutes.

How can you duplicate this? What do you guys do?

nobody as of yet has been able to replicate the enfuriating quality of the AIs 4-2-4, however, I do grab my fair share of late goals by using this tactic.
