It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Finally have had an opportunity to try this. I have used it in 7 games where I have been down one late or level and really wanted the win. I have drawn level twice and got one game winner.

I tried it to start a game but felt uncomfortable after 15 minutes and went to my normal tactic.

I have tried in the past to get a 4-2-4 right but I was too timid in the instructions.

This seems to be very well done. Thanks

Yeah, and it works the other way round too.

When your opponent falls behind, especially when they are the home team, the game does seem to go 4-2-4.

I re-set mentality for the defence and change team instructions to 'counter attack' using direct/quick settings.

It often catches a team on the breakaway and has won me several matches.

My Man U team had made it into December unbeaten when they and I were given a rude awakening by Bayern Munich who through Podolski ( my new nemesis) went up 3-0 in the first half.

I read your thread at about the 60th minute of the game and quickly downloaded it to use from the 70th minute on.

Immediately I had a couple of shots of their goal and if not for their Keeper playing a superb game I am sure I would have probably scored one or two.

So in short I see some promise in this and while I don't lose to often with my side I will endeavour to use test this some more and see how it goes.

well, I was going into the 80th minute against Fulham away and it was 0-0 - decided to throw caution to the wind and used bludgeon for the last ten minutes to try and sneak a winner.
Within seconds of changing Giggs fired in a 25 yard missile to put us in the lead! Of course after this I immediately had to change tactics again to a shut up shop tactic but thats one out of two for this tactic so far for me.

I won my 3 games with this tactic. I'm Mansfield fighting relegation in League One because I was promoted.

Won the 1st match 5-0 2nd match 4-0 and 3rd Match 4-3

What type of players are advised for this tactic because i never seem to have much success with this tactic i dont think i am employing it correctly. However, i think the results could be just around the corner as i have a very talented squad.

it's only a tactic you would use in the last ten minutes or so of a game so you are probably at the mercy of whoever is on at that time unless you have substitutions still to make.
But having said that if you DO have subs left to make two strong ball winners in the middle would be ideal. DMC in the mould of Sissoko for example though if you had him he'd likely be on the field anyway!
