got brillant playmakers in riquelme and fernandez but i also bought a new guy who has stats whcih i reckon could make him a good target man...my question is:

can you play a targetman AND playmaker with tempo at quick or is that asking too much of my team?

I generally use either one or the other. With Liverpool I sometimes use Gerrard as playmaker and other times use Crouch as target man. Whereas in my LLM game I use a target man most often - although just recently I managed to loan a highly skilled midfielder and can now deploy the playmaker option.

So anyway, I say you try both and tell us if it works.

got murcia next so i'll give it 3/4 games and tell ya if it works

i have the murcia match on full and i've noticed that im not really many chances and at half time im only winning one nil. (had 3 shots on target). In truth it may be that my formation needs reworking because im used to playing playmaker but not really targetman.

2nd half: targetman i put crossing and through balls on mixed and tick hold up ball...now i create several chances as riquelme plays the killer ball, all defenders go to llorente and through ball for forlan...this is working well as defenders always attempt to close down llorente and he slides in a pass for forlan

but this is murcia BTW so i'll try against more opponents and report bak
