i have found that the key to beating teams like arsenal and chelsea is to control the midfield and most importantly preventing their fullbacks getting forward because they attack with their fullbacks. i always make sure i play 3 players in the center of the park or 2 physical players who can win the ball. i also make sure that my wingers man mark their fullbacks. playig a deep d-line helps but i only do it if i play a DM.

i suggest u read the scout report and counter them. Playing defensive most certainly would earn you nothing if Arsenal wont play attacking or control tactics. Therefore read the scout report. It is the secret

That is true, but also be prepared to switch up tactics in the first 20 minutes if what you start with is not working.

oh yeah, in the seccond half, the AI tend to go more attacking. IF they do, i suggest you counter attack

opposition instructions my friend. I played a possession based tactic, and had tight marking on all their midfield and strikers. Made it hard for them to get the ball and also made the key players use their weaker foot.
