For people who don't know what regens/newgens are;
When a season is ending, new players will be created by the database, this will be done randomly. Sometimes a regen/newgen enter the game at the of 22, but most of the times regens are created trough the youth systems of professional clubs.

So when you think you have a future wonderkid, homemade or scouted, show him to us!

Does anyone know, what is the game date in which regens are created?

i used to be about the 20th June in FM2006.

i did a search using the FM Scout program at the end of season 1 on the day when it says players have been promoted to my u18 team. However there werent any new regens in the game.

I have the English, German, Italian and Spanish leagues selected.

I think it depends on the competition, ie new regens in holland are created around 7th of july

Around June I think, it is certainly between seasons.

So why at the end of my first season were there no regens who werent at a club.

in FM06 there was usually about 20 players who were available on a free transfer who were regen players.
