no, that'd be ridiculous. if you didn't have regens then the database would gradually decrease until the last player on it was a keeper who was 14 at the start of the game. and then you'd get loads of grey players anyway to make up the spaces, and grey players are made up too.
I know, but imo the database doesn't get at that point.

How long would it take to complete the scenario you described above?! By then I've already started a new game

I just don't like all the regen-fred stuff, but I know it's essential for the long-lasting games.. </BLOCKQUOTE>

I personally find the games a lot nicer with loads of newgens. The real youngsters in the start of the game are usually rather poor, unless they play for some of the biggest clubs. The newgens however, could pop up in smaller clubs, and still become class. I think that makes it much more exiting.

Love the scouting system, and love it that future wonderkids are willing to move to a smaller club first:

There are a few ways I use to look for future wonderkids;
1. Look at players below 17
2. High value = mostly high potential (unless some club have spend lots of money for a guy)
3. Manager - Player Search; make a filter (age at most 17) =&gt; then look which players are the most valuable. You can also look at view - technical and then scroll down the list to see anyone with high attributes. Cause mostly young players with high technical attributes are some to keep an eye on .
4. Under 16 players dont have value, but when you give them a contract look if it goes automatic on decent player or hot prospect. Hot prospect = higher potential.
5. Use your scouts, sign them to a country and set your filter on maximum age of 17.

Regens appear after your first season, within season 2008/2009 the first wonderkid regens will probably appear (produced in your first season).

I'd be more worried about his composure, but other than that he looks class.

Any comments on the Turkish guy I posted earlier in the thread? He's probably one of the best regens I've had :o
