Why do you type in caps? I would suggest you Marcelo and you offer him a better contract for by the words you use you seem to give him a lousy contract

There's no point trying to unsettle him if he doesnt want to come to you. See what the scouts say first. If they tell you that he has no intention of signing for you, there's no point trying because he wont come, do what you want. If he's interested in signing for you, just offer him everything he asks for in his contract. He should accept in that case. If you cant sign him, see if he'll come on loan.

Besides him, see how much Arsenal want for Clichy. I doubt you'll get him 5-6M though, but give it a try anyway. Try Drenthe on loan as well. If you want one for the future, again go to Arsenal and buy Traore. You should get him reasonably cheap and he's got a good future ahead of him.
