oh yes it finally hear the one you have all been waiting for, the daddy of all clubs, the sleeping giant, the mighty Cherries thread!!!!

So this years FM has been out a while now and we are all settled in, lets look at the main changes to Bournemouth since 07 :-

More debt! hoorah! 3.5 Million pounds owed

a breakdown of the club:-

10698 capacity, it will do for league one no real need to worry as you wont be filling it for a while yet

Finances are okay, although Bournemouth are deffinately a selling club, we have a few players that can be sold for quite a bit if needed, and the running costs aren't too high

lets take a rough look at the team:-

GK - Moss and stewart, they are both good league 1 keepers, no need to do anything here, we have more important area's to improve

Defence - not to bad! Gowling is superb, play him every game! Pearce, young are pretty good, although i do usually get a loan DC to play alongside Gowling, Telfer at RB is ok, although slow and a BIG wage, but good enough for 1 season, Cummings is good at LB

Midfield - Anderton Very slow prone to injuries, but good for set pieces and passing, i usually have him on the bench, Hollands probably your most steady CM and pretty young, Foley when he gets back from injry is a great AMC or LM, Gradel on loan is a very good MR, i usually bring in a couple of loan signings to bolster the Ranks

Attack - the diamond in the rough of Bournemouth, Pitman and Vokes are great, Vokes epecially have a big future ahead of him, and if needed both can be sold for a nice chunk of money and replaced with less expensive Players, Lee Bradbury i dont like very much and managed to sell him for 100k

as you can imagine with any cash strapped club, Loans are the key here, get a parent club ASAP, i managed to get Chelski in my first season and they have really helped out.

Cup runs! any good run in any cup will bring in the money, survival and money are your main priorities here, the chairman does not want much, just survival in league 1!

if you enjoy the challenge of a smaller club, then this is the team for you, any questions welcome i will visit the thread often if there are any Bournemouth managers out there, lets hear you!!
