I'm in my 5th Season as Manchester United manager and this is Johnson's 2nd season with me. He's an important member of the squad and shares his position with Denilson, who I signed from Arsenal.

The things that confuses me is, when it's match day, more often than not, there's a "PR" next to his name, and it says that "he's not entirely confident of beating so and so" or "Doesn't think he can play to his best.." and yet, i look at his stats and rating at full-time and he's consistently in the top 3/4 top performers. He never says it when it's a big game i.e. Liverpool, Arsenal, it's always when we're facing teams such as Wigan etc etc.

And suggestions?

There's nothing you can do about it as far as I know. Some players do have a habit of doing that sadly. And it doesnt matter how big and strong they are either. Its just something random in the game. But I DO think that it happens less with players who have a high determination stat. They're less likely to be such chicken-shits!!!

Sorry for the double post. Forgot to mention that I dont think it matters much as it doesnt really effect their game any.

Aidee how much did you pay for Johnson? i'm in my second season with Arsenal and Sven wants £35m for him. I walked away from that one.

That's exactly what happened with me. I wanted Johnson from the start but was priced out far too many times. I continually scouted him, and told the media that I liked the look of him etc etc which, in the end, unsettled him. In the 3rd summer, City gave in as he wanted to move to a bigger club and was unhappy that Sven had rejected my offer (which was only £11m!). In the end, City accepted a bid oof £15m for Johnson. Oh, and Micah Richards was on board a week later at a cost of £17m. The same scenario as Johnson's. Both are top dollar and are "World-wide". Both have been captains for me this season (in the absence of Rooney, Ronaldo and Dani Alves!)

I got Richards in first season, flopped out a big ol' £26m. I went for Javi Martinez instead of Johnson but certainly will be looking to get him in the future, looks like the only English MC worth having.

sven wanted 22mil from me, then had the cheek to bid 9mil for martins!!!!

he is a soft ass, sven signed one CM n he wanted to leave cus of competition lol.
