do NOT get Fred, from experience he is awful and does not fit in at arsenal. but yeah jimmy briand is pretty good.

personally I would advise ikechukwu uche, cissé, or malik mouath al-hawasawi.

Fred is one of the most complete strikers in the game dude. And I always play as Arsenal. And he was top scorer for me 4 seasons on the trot. Always got more than a goal a game. Not to mention, plenty of assists. And when you consider that I had Aguero, Bojan, Henry, Saivet, Vela & Bendtner also in the squad, that is one heck on an achievement.

Infact I've made a promise to myself that I wont sign him again because it just get ridiculously easy with him in the team.

Amuari of pelmero, martins newcastle, & Huntelaar can be bought for around £10M

They have all scored 25+ goals a season for me.

Also take a look at Ionut Mazilu if you want to spend a bit less.

If you're looking to spend more try Jefferson Farfan for £6m, Jimmy Briand as mentioned, Rodrigo Palacio or perhaps Florent Sinama-Pongolle?

Any striker will only do as well as the tactics they are set to play in.

First thing to do is look at your system. Do you use a big strong target man, or do you look to expose defences through pace and quick tempo play.

Obviously some players perform better than others, but I've had success with really cheap players because their key attributes suit my tactics perfectly.

There is a brazilian named leonardo lima. He cost me between 5 - 10 mil. Takes a few games to get into the tempo but he is world class. Scored 10 goals in 19 games for me.
