i'm northampton and i need some good players... before anybody sends me into the good player forums i have to say that all the players in there are to expensive... some are cheap but they are hard to find cant anybody make a: "Good and Cheap Players" forum????

I'm Darlington in my 4th season and sitting in League 1 still . Anyways here's a few players that I can recommedn who are cheap :-

Theo Robinson (Watford)
Michael Noone (Millwall)
Sheku Kamara (free agent)
Kasali Yinka Casal (free agent)
Martin Brittan (free agent)
Pablo Mills (Rotherham)
Lauri Dalla Valle - got him in the 2nd season on a bosman. He is unbelievably good!

Some of the players, including a few listed here by golfpunk above, are actually very good and best of all cheap or free. Do look towards the last three pages of the thread though, as the first two pages were submitted during the demo version and pre-8.0.1 patched version of FM08.

Lauri Dalla Valle is magic for any lower league club that can get him. His potential ability is excellent. He starts the game as -9 PA, which with the right coaching, means he can be nearly as good as a -10 PA "wonderkid" :thup:

Actually, post-patch, he's only a -8 Still well worth what you pay (ie nothing - just make sure you actually offer his club £0 rather than using the "approach to sign" function) for a non-premiership club
