A much better season for Cardiff. 7 players came in who became regulars. The South African contingent of the club were doing exceedingly well, with the striker getting a record 31 goals this season.
I finished 6th, in the playoffs. After a 5 - 1 agg. win over Preston, is was over to Nottingham Forest, and Cardiff fans went back to Wales disappointed after Forest win 1 - 0 and are promoted.
That wasn't the only Final I lost. I made it to the Carling Cup Final, and attacking-style Liverpool got the UEFA Cup spot with a 3 - 0 win over us.
High of the Season: Beating Leeds, Charlton and Middlesbrough on the road to the Carling Cup Final.
Low of the Season: Losing 9 - 3 to Hull. Losing the Carling Cup Final. Losing the Play-off Final.
Finances: Looking good, and I should bring in one or two players.
