Full-Season 2011/2012

A much better season for Cardiff. 7 players came in who became regulars. The South African contingent of the club were doing exceedingly well, with the striker getting a record 31 goals this season.

I finished 6th, in the playoffs. After a 5 - 1 agg. win over Preston, is was over to Nottingham Forest, and Cardiff fans went back to Wales disappointed after Forest win 1 - 0 and are promoted.

That wasn't the only Final I lost. I made it to the Carling Cup Final, and attacking-style Liverpool got the UEFA Cup spot with a 3 - 0 win over us.

High of the Season: Beating Leeds, Charlton and Middlesbrough on the road to the Carling Cup Final.

Low of the Season: Losing 9 - 3 to Hull. Losing the Carling Cup Final. Losing the Play-off Final.

Finances: Looking good, and I should bring in one or two players.

Final Position: 6th W20 D12 L14 F81 A68 GD+13 Pt 72

I suspect that if I tighten up my defence, I will get promoted to the Premier Division.

Goal for next Season: Take 33% off my conceded goals. Target is 45 goals.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Australia

Lost to Brazil 2 - 1
Beat Jordan 2 - 0
Beat Thailand 3 - 1
OFC NATIONS CUP
Drew with Vanuatu 1 - 1
Beat Tonga 3 - 0
Beat Fiji 4 - 0
Drew with New Zealand 1 - 1
Beat New Caledonia 4 - 0

Final against New Zealand to be played in October.
