I tried to book in there for my trip in early June, but it was full. Still I found a much nicer place anyway.

Of course it was full, Church. Too many guys standing in line to check in. When you're in though, I don't think it's any good anyway. Probably not very special, and not worth the money. There are nice locations that are less expensive in any way.

As for the question: I'm not a zealot but this sounds like a case of 'needs must'. Your team needs players, your defenders are getting a bit ripe. The U-18s at the big teams seem like fine targets to me.

Have you tried looking in places like Biaritz for French Basques?. Might widen the potential net!. IIRC A Frech world cup winning defender was Basque so there must be some other talented ones!
