Maybe it's your signing on fee? (we do afterall seem to get a considerable wage for the lower leagues, and maybe the chairman is using the Arsenal trick to suppliment higher (taxable) wages by paying big signing on fees over the length of the contract)

| You say "we" but I'm strictly following a particular policy in my game - minimal wages (average £35 per week) and I have never ever offered a single signing on fee (or any bonus payment for that matter). So if the chairman has slyly slipped someone a quid to join us he's done it behind my back |
