100% agree with everything you said. (not that you care whether I agree or not I'm sure)

I wouldn't dream of telling you how to change your style of play. This is your community, and if people don't like it they go elsewhere.

My issue was I didn't like the implication that if I didn' play every single game of FM/CM adhering to all the LLM rules, I wouldn't be welcome here.

From the sounds of your post, that isn't the case, and I am welcome to post updates on my games?

Like I said, I follow the LLM 'rules', with the exception that I don't always start in the lowest league possible. Obviously, I will only post updates on the games where I do, hence my Hong Kong thread on here which I hope to update soon.

Crikey, this is hard.

Not starting in lowest league possible is only allowed if you have an ancient machine at home. Otherwise it is a big NONO. Starting in the lowest league possible is most of what LLaMa is all about. You cannot expect someone to sign a totaly unexperienced manager in higher leagues. That is unreallistic, therefor it is not LLaMa-ish.
Are we clear on that one?

Why is it we always have someone taking umbrage at the "no LLM on/off switch" comments?

Fact is, Phil, the guys that stay here, year in, year out, are the guys who only play LLM the LLM way. The guys who disagree with the "on/off scenario" generally change into LLaMas or eventually stop posting (this is nearly 7 years of Crap/LLM knowledge talking, btw  )

You can play with ManUre using the LLM Spirit and Ethos, but you can't play LLM unless you start in the lowest available Division.

Stands to reason.

Anyways, I'll keep my eye on this thread and close it if it gets too "handbags".

All sounds good to me. I take it I am welcome to stay then as long as my updates refer to LLM-pure games?

We will have to agree to diagree on the turning on/off point, its obviously a contentious area!
