SEASON 20011/12 - Stenhousemuir - Scotland Third Division - 2nd Post .
After staying at the top two positions all throughout the season, with 11 games to play we went down to third. In the last 6 matches, the opposite GK earn a "Clean Sheet Bonus", thanks to our inability to create opportunities (mostly 0-0 draws).
However, we climbed back to the top with 7 games to go, after two consecutive victories.
We'll see what happens. Only thing for sure is I can't win a match by a 2 goal margin

SEASON 20011/12 - Stenhousemuir - Scotland Third Division - Last Post .
Last games of the season we played like crap, just like Castillo and Lleida's end-of-season-games. Obviously, I don't know how to handle the pressure.
We barely managed to win 1 out of 6 games, and arrived to the last game placed second, 1 point ahed of two teams. Impossible to claim the title, my only goal was to promote to Second Division.
Start of the game and the opposition grew strong. We needed a victory to promote and a goal in the first half and a second one in the 90th minute secured us the promotion spot.
A new victory of Renato Posappiani

SEASON 20012/13 - Stenhousemuir - Scotland Second Division - 1st Post.
My personal goal was to get promoted this year, to avoid getting bored in this division. I signed free agents and kept only the GK, 2 DC and a MC from last season as regular starters.
Signed a very good MC, 19 years old.
Thus, we were rated as 3rd favourites for promotion, although 5 out of 10 teams payed less than 2-1 on the bets, showing, once again, how tough are the Scotland divisions.
With 11 games gone, first placed team had only won 3 games and had only 6 points more than the 9th placed!!!
In the 15th game we started a nice run. We're now first, 2 points ahead of second and 5 of third with 11 W, 6 D, 4 L, +12.
Lleida went down last season winning only 1 game out of 38, with 12 goals.
Castillo had been relegated 2 season after I left the club and hasn't came back until now.
Cups are history for this season.

Season 20012/13 - Stenhousemuir - Scotland - Second Division - Last Post.
Irregularity kept regular for Stenhousemuir and for the rest of the teams.
With 5 games to go, we were one of the four teams that were stil battling for the title.
Thanks to other results we arrived to the last game 2 points ahead of the other three, and showed an amazing effectivity to win the game 4-1 and claim the Second Division Title
Amazing effectivity 'cause we had an average of 1.15 goals per match :thdn:
Final positions:
1st Stenhousemuir....60..+15
2nd Ross County......58..+11
3rd Dumbarton........58..+10 (third Div champs last year!!)
Livingston...........55...+2
Everybody was happy, except for me, that rejected more than 20 job offers:
Argentina: River, San Lorenzo, Racing and more.
Spain: At. Madrid, Valencia and many more.
Italy: Can't remember but were at least 7.
Scotland: 2 Premier League teams.
And we had turned from USD 300,000 in red to break-even.
W 17 - D 9 - L 10 - F 47 - A 32 - PTS 60 - 1st
Challenge Cup: lost in semis at Patrick (1st Div) on penalties.
League Cup: lost in 2nd round Ronda at Patrick (1st Div)
Scotich Cup: lost in 3° round replay at Forfar (3rd Div).
Leida ended 9th 24 points short of promotion en 2nd Div.
Castillo stil couldn't come back to 2°B.
Could get rid of this division on my first try!!

SEASON 20013/14 - Stenhousemuir - Scottish Escocia First Division - 1st Post.
And getting used to 1st Division wasn't easy at all. And although we had UDS 24,000 to attract new players we couldn't convince anybody. Only some free transfers and a loanee that ended up in the bench.
However, although our key players were the same as the previous year, we didn't perform so bad.
We were irregular just like the year before, and placed 4th with half season played, with 7 W, 5D and 6L. We're 6 points short of Falkirk, ubicado 1°
On the other hand we're only 7 points ahead of relegation.

SEASON 20013/14 - Stenhousemuir - Scottish First Division - 2nd Post.
Same thing for second half. We mixed wins and losses
So, we finished with:
W 13, D 10, L 13, F 41, A 40, Pts 49, clinching 5th position, 20 pts short of Airdrie Utd and 14 ahead of St. Johnstone (9th and relegated
At first sight looks like a poor performance.
However I've been chosen 3rd best manager of the div, and after taking a look at the rest of the teams I realized that the average value of the Champs' players is USD 60,000 while our average is USD 8.000
So, I'm kinda happy with the 5th place
Cups sucked, of course.
We have USD 300.000 in the bank (600.000 more than 3 years ago), so I'll force the board to increase the salary budget (more expensive player earns USD 1,600 per month = USD 400 per week!). Otherwise, I'll consider changing clubs as a serious option.
If I can't improve the quality of the players I'll never make it to the premiere.

SEASON 20014/15 - Stenhousemuir - Scottish First Division - 1st Post.
Started 11th season ( ) with very low expectations.
I only could add a sub GK, an experimented Spanish midfielder (who was loved instantly by the fans, but after 4 games showed me he didn't deserve even a place in the bench) and a striker with 4 years of Scottish Premier League experience and 12 goals that resigned a big part of his salary to be managed by such an illustrous, bright and amazing manager like me :p.
Started the year with W1 - D 1 - L 4 and endless job offers. Against my will, I forced myself to stay here 'til the end of the season.
And based on an awful, ultra-defensive tactic, with counter-attack as the only weapon, we won 8, drew 1 and lost 1 of the following 10 games.
This allowed us to be 2nd with half season over, 2 points short of the leader.
Do we have a chance to get promoted, although bets are 4-1 in the best scenario, game after game?
