there I was, enjoying the game so much I thought I'd join the online community and have a chat. Unfortunately I came to this forum ("I'm playing a lower league team, what forum shall I post in first", ah, so simple a mistake, so naive) and got berated for daring to use the player search screen during the summer. I read your rules, played by most of them anyway, but hey, it's only a game, I thought, lets just forget posting with the llamas.

So a couple of seasons passed where my scouts managed to find all the players I needed.

Until this summer.

"I need a right winger", I thought, "and my scouts haven't been able to find anyone suitable. I know, I'll take a look in the player search screen" (where else would you search for a player?). And there he was, the holy grail, crossing 17, dribbling 13, passing, stamina, work rate, tackling, the whole shebang.

And he was on a free.

And he would have taken a pay cut to come and join my little team.

My hand moved rapidly and was poised over the offer contract button...

And I couldn't do it. All because of you, you bunch of... of... of lilly-livered, buck teethed, long necked, woolly headed... llamas. Now I'm stuck halfway through the next season without anyone who can get over a 6 if I stick them out on the wing and guess, go on guess, where most of my goals come from now. Do you think it's down the right wing... do you. You'd be wrong you bunch of... boy, was he a good winger.

I just hope you realise the trouble you cause. It's not just a matter of not posting here, you can't even let yourself read it because slowly, slowly the infection will spread. TAKE HEED NEWBIES, LEAVE NOW BEFORE ITS TO LATE. They need to put your forum on a server in a lead lined box in a cage on an island surronded by a crocodile infested lake in a specailly constructed room (possibly lead lined as well) 60 feet below SI HQ, all because the rabid puritanicalism leaking out of here makes the rest of the forums feel uncomfortable.
