I agree with you. SOmetimes the game is a bit unrealistic, but ehat the heck. It is also unrealistic that I am a semi-successful football manager

You organize them?

Hmm. Maybe I ought to try that with Elgin.

Putting aside (but not dismissing) what Monkey in the fog has put forward above i have completed the 07/08 season at Swansea.

07/08 English League One. Swansea City.

Arriving at Swansea saw a huge jump, so YES i now understand the point regarding unrealistic job offers.

The squad, at first, took well to my new approach to tactics and training. The season was progressing OK, sitting mid table and progressing to the 3rd round of the FA cup. It was shortly after chritmass that it all went pear shaped. Several of my key players got injured and replacements were not up to scratch. The slide began.

In February we lost every game and it was only in mid Feb that we secured our first point, a 0-0 draw with Luton. I'd never been happier, we were now locked in a relegation battle and that hard fought 0-0 draw cheered the lads up no end as we managed to win the next game 2-0 away to fellow relegation candidates Brentford. I hadn't till this point used any of the transfer money as everyone i approached did not want to join the fight at Swansea. Until.... my scout told me about a 21yr old MC that had been released on a free. I approached the player and to my joy he agreed. Straight into the first team he went and instantly he brought the best out of his fellow team mates. Fans loved him, i loved him, in fact the tea lady loved him, twice if my scout is correct.

The rest of the season did not fail to keep me clicking continue till 3am. The lads managed to string together a few wins and we were slowly moving away from the relegation zone. Then disaster, three losses in a row and we were sitting in 20th place with only goal difference keeping us safe. 2 games to go, one against the title winner Doncaster and the final game against Swindon (22nd). The Docaster game was going OK until my keeper decided to charge out of his area to clear a through ball, he kicked it into the oncoming forward and back into his own net The game ended 1-0 and we now faced a do-or-die game against Swindon. We were 1 point ahead of Swindon but with a worse goal diffrence. We had managed to get through the Doncaster game without picking up any injuries (first for a long while) or suspensions. So we hit Swindon with my strongest line up for a while and managed to beat them 3-0. Happy days.

Final Position 19th

A powerfull back foot cover drive to the boundry.

FFS.....

Sacked!

All I did was fine 1 weeks wages to my DMC who got a red card. I thought i was quite justified in doing so as im (was) in a play off race.

Going to start again.

Good luck to all the LLaMa's.

p.s. Clean bowled, middle stump cart-wheeling toward the keeper, bails hitting fly slip and 1st slip.

Why on earth don't you continue with another club. I mean, you should have high enough rep to get a job.

hmmm... Did you try anger management class? I got sacked like that as well once. So what. You just go to another club and hope that good things will happen.
