Hope that result rubs off on my team

Henchoz - did you see/meet up with Ian?

I see the crowd was about 200; in my game I'm continuing to fill every home game with 1500 which is complete nonsense.

I'm making slighty slow progress and I'm a tad bored with utter mediocrity but I will persist and update at the end of the season.

Just now I'll add the detail that I have maintained a strict policy which I have made absolutely no exceptions for - every contract is part-time.

I'm not sure if it makes a material difference - the vast majority of players I approach are not interested in signing for me on those terms but I'm assuming they wouldn't have anyway.

Admittedly my training schedules don't look part-time but the neighbourhood is delighted that the postmen combine sprints and cross-county with their postal rounds

Anyone else ever gone with a 100% part-time policy?

I have tried to stick to part time when nessescary but I don't think that the game really implements part time awfully well. Most lower Scottish clubs in the game have all full time contracts which are in reality part time (how is a guy meant to live off £80 a week?!?) and when part time contracts do exist in the game, it appears still assumed that part timers do the same training as full timers!

I think that Part Timer's condition should improve less quickly and that there should be a seperate screen to set up their training, as it is usually only a couple of nights a week - indeed your coaches should have to be scheduled to match this. And there should be a new news item about players that you are trying to sign part time - "player x refused to sign because the club's training night's would interfere with his pub darts and quiz nights".

I didn't make it, Andy. We started watching the Arsenal/Bolton game and remembered the Rugby was on so we stayed at home.

Don't mention the rugby :o Boy it was hard being a Scot in Thailand during that first half

You're right about part-time in FM Kevo00 but I'm sticking to it regardless. The minimum I can offer for most contracts is £35 per week and I'm sticking to that where I can. My maximum wage is £50 per week. The board allows more but it's self-regulation see - LLaMa purity (altho' as I said above it doesn't extend to training).

I'll let you know how badly I'm doing at the end of the season

Given the choice i'd rather England lost to Wales than to the Jocks.

The Jocks could beat us 110-0.

They still wouldn't be the World Cup holders

(Before you start, living on past World Cup victories is what we English do best, OK?! )
