Thinking about it the welsh clubs used to compete in the Welsh cup while competing in the english leagues. IIRC, they were allowed to compete in Europe as Wales didnt have a national league (same as Leichenstein teams now) and now as there is one, they can't qualify for europe through the welsh cup.

So, if Cardiff won the EPL i'm sure they would be allowed in the CL and the same would go for Vaduz I guess.

I can't imagine Vaduz would finish high enough in the Swiss league; surely they're the Leichtecalidocious representitives.

My understanding, as resident Welshman and Cardiff fan, is that the FA (English) would have to nominate us as a representative of England in the unlikely event that we won either cup/finished high enough in the EPL.
