Need some advice on how to keep my team (York City) up once i get them promoted. At the minute every time I get into League 2 I'm just getting my ass whooped (as have not really got money for any new players) and coming straight back down again. Any advice?

Also:-

1) How do I go about arranging friendlies with other teams when i have a bit of spare time?

2) How do i cultivate relationships between my players?

3) When (if ever) will I get offered jobs from other clubs?

go to your fixtures pages and press X I think to arrange friendlies.

Do you mean more expeirenced players tutoring new, younger ones?

Yes i do mean the relationship between the older and younger players. How do you link them?

go to the younger player, and hit the right trigger, select player interaction and the option should be there at the bottom one to one tutoring tho

Cheers lads but what about the job offers?! Do I have to win cups/leagues before they come my way?

Basically yes. Just do a good job, which will enhance your reputation which should in turn get you some job offers.

With the job offer question, I took Stevenage up as champions of the conference in my 1st season, finished 15th in league 2 and also won the johnstone paint trophy and currently in my 3rd season sitting at 10th. All this with just £2000 transfer kitty for the last 2 seasons and I got offered the England Job!!!

i think when you want a young player to learn from a more experienced player i think they have to be 20 or younger and also if you want to make a bit of money out of the friendlies pick teams from the asian section like shenhua(spelling) and sydney
