giggsy and scholes have been saying for ages they were gonna stay in the game then they announced they were retiring and i cant click on there names to bring up their profile or find them at all even though they both sed they would remain in the game doing coaching with a view to go into management, however i wasnt even given the option of offering them staff contracts so i think maybe i found a bug!!!!

if you didnt get the option to offer them staff contracts, then they hadnt completed the relevant badges, so maybe they changed their minds.

Not a bug, imo it seems very difficult to get players to become coaches. I've never managed it anyway, and its not for the lack of trying.

Not everyone that wants to become a coach can automatically become one. If they successfully get their badges, it will show up in your news. If not, then they probably gave up and moved on.

i seem to remember having teddy sheringham coaching at spurs... he was crap but i just couldn't sack him...

You used to get a message telling you that a player was now qualified as a coach. This option now seems missing from the game.

I'm WBA and got Giggsy in as a coach at the start of my 3rd season :thup:

in my game Giggsy still havent retired in 3rd season but he said he is gonna retire soon as he now only have 5 acceleration 4 pace. His technical attributes remains high though

Not a bug, they have retired to one half of South America which they bought on their silly wages at Man U.

Who would want to coach or manage with that money behind them ??
