| Hah. All publicity is good publicity mate. One gamer being unhappy is not going to change their stance with SEGA. If you truely did go to lawschool you should be able to negotiate a refund. It's not that hard. Even I can do that (not that I'm going to with this game as I'm eagerly awaiting the patch!) and have done with several games throughout the years. So really, if you truely did go to lawschool, prove it to them? You'd be surprised how quickly a store will buckle if applied the right kind of flattery and pressure. (consumers laws are quite helpful on this, if you didn't already know..)
The transaction was with the retailer, not SI.
Which is the main reason Trading Standards won't want to know. </BLOCKQUOTE>

if you hang around with monkeys long enough you act like one
do you really think that if he didn't give a sarcastic comment but gave a reasoned and correct argument that the person would say
'gosh darn it you right guv. what ever was i thinking?'
no he'd tell glyn that he's wrong and that he is right and no matter what glyn says he'll came back by saying he's a SI bum licker or other words to that effect.

No newspaper in the world is going to consider "Computer game needs patch" a worthy article. I can't believe anyone actually thinks that the press will start some sort of campaign against SI.
As for Trading Standards, SI hasn't broke any laws, what are they meant to do?
By all means complain if it is warranted but anyone who thinks this situation will ever turn into a legal battle or something is in a dream world.

I was going to read this, but stopped immediatly after you stated that SI make people pay for it every year.
I'm not sure how you come to that conclusion? Nobody makes me pay for the game, I do so because I want to. Because I know that in 1 or 2 months a full patch will be out and the game will be brilliant. There was a demo you know, why didn't you try that first?

| that there are literally more threads just like this one on the board at the moment, than any other ones. too many. everyone else who wants to discuss general things, as this forum is about, has to read through all the cack about, "when's the patch out wah?" "why isn't the game perfect wah?" "why do i have to wait wah?" "mummy i wanna take my game back wah?" "why do i have to have a patch wah?" etc.
however people who want to discuss the nuances of the game, the little minor miracles, the jubilation, the interesting facts and so on, have no choice but to look at these stupid whiny threads, that would be better served with alcohol, or better yet, kept in jimbokavski's whiny thread.
