1. they can't tell you when the patch will be out because they dont know.
2. trading standards will laugh at you
3. comparing a plasma tv and a piece of software is also laughable as the complexities of both are far different.
you don't interact with a plasma tv do you? except for pressing buttons but thats it.

alsol the thing about your camera being fixed.
you tell them the probelm they fix it.
software being fixed.
you tell them the problem, they fix it.test. fixed problem has an effect on another part of the game, that part has to be changed, test, another 3 parts of the game are affected due to the previous 2 changes, fix, test
see the difference?

Right now, its the silence that is annoying me far more than the wait for the patch.
| So the Chairman of the company posting that he hopes it will be ready within the week is 'silence' is it?

| and all this 'keeping us informed' takes time, which will affect the time that the patch comes out.
even if they reply to one thread, which they do you can GUARANTEE another 50 threads opening asking the same question.
you expect them to waste their time when they could be creating the patch?

| It's not even as simple as that - in order to fix anything reported as a 'bug' they have tro be able to reproduce it in order to know why it happened and therefore how to try and fix it.
That's why people posting moans about things happening in their game aren't very useful - uploads of games to SI are.

| The transaction was with the retailer, not SI.
Which is the main reason Trading Standards won't want to know.
