im playing in the lower leagues and as part of money spinning ways i want to arrange friendlies every week for my reserves and youth team but i dont want to just play premier clubs as getting thrashed each week is probably not good for moral now ive tried sorting out other friendlies against lower teams but its such a pain to do can you please tell me if there is an easier way? thankyou

Play your reserves against you youth team twice a week, should earn you about 1k per week.

Not much no but they're playing every week whilst maintaining morale and you've got a steady income.

I seriously thought that playing your youth team against your reserves team COST you money. Only about 20 people turn up for the matches against these two teams, and the match day costs are more than the income from ticket prices. Am I wrong??

Try looking for the B teams in your country. My Xerez B team played the Barcelona C team once and it suggested I would get 30,000 pounds in revenue (rather than the usual 1,000 or 2,000). I still lost (no Academy, no good!), but could give you an idea.

But you are unlikely to get a lot of money with your Reserves or Youth teams - unless you are willing to take a painful hit against a top side with no games in a certain period.

As boss of solihull moors i arrange for my u-18s to play every day against either barca b, real madrid c, or valencia mestalla.

This generates approximately 30k per match in my measly 3040 capacity but after a while the money adds up and we are making a healthy profit.

My youth training facilities are described as adequate therefore my youth players are exceptionally poor and would be just released in time anyway so overworking them and recieving heavy beatings are not issues i
that i worry about .

COST you money
In my experience it doesn't.
