I had to resort to Goran Pandev of Lazio. Who I netted for £13M.

According to the Italian Summary at the end of the season, Pandev was one of the signings of the season! Plus the player scooped player of the year.

I am now looking to offload Zlatan, who I find is worth nothing!! Certainly not, his £25M price tag.

Can any gamers think of some other "high profile" players that are well over-rated?

Haha as if crouch is overrated his not even that good in the game and his pretty good in real life. Same with Saha

Crouch is absolute pap.

Saha is bloody awful, he takes far too long on the ball, gets knocked off the ball far too easily, has terrible decision making and I scream at the TV every time he releases the ball outside the box then danders towards the penalty spot....cross comes in.....noones there!! I think he has the ability but he is infuriating.

i think the most overrated player is michael owen
don't see what's so great, i can shoot better than him, and his pace is totally shot. and as for dribbling ability, what ability? all i see are just pushing the ball away and losing it. sheesh.
hardly worth his 17 million price tag.

Only problem is that most of these over-rated players are quite good on the game.

I think Lucio is crap IRL but in my Bayern game he is the rock of my back four. Goofus and I agree about Michael Owen but he is amazing on the game and can be picked up for under 20m. He got 29 in one season for me and is a must buy if available.

In the game, the most over-rated player by far is Ever Banega from Boca, really good stats and young but never got over 6.50 in a season for me and i've bought him a couple of times to see if he improves. I also bought Gavin McCann on my Wigan game and he has pretty good stats but was rubbish and got booked every game.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the most over-rated player in the history of football. He has pace, can head the ball and has 2 skills, step over and back heel! THAT'S IT!!! He can't shoot properly, can't take free kicks, can't pass and can't cross. He can't defend and his determination, work rate and decision making is absolute garbage. All he does with a free kick is run up and hits it as hard as he can and hopes for the best. What a complete gay tosspot! Now...i realise not everyone will agree and i may get a few upset Man Utd fans from Pakistan or India or London who have never sniffed Old Trafford, giving me abuse. All i can say is.....JUST BRING IT JABRONI'S!
