My Oxford reserve team has played 26 games so far this season, got 69 points and a goal difference of +70. Why can't the first team play like this. Maybe because I amin control.

maybe the other teams reserve teams are full of really rubbish players. or the AI dont pay much attention to the reserve teams so their ful of grey players rather than proper ones.

im agree with postie, reserve league is not very detailed, or important for that matter.
So i wouldn't worry

Or maybe I have a lot of resonably good players. If they don't play well in the first team I drop them to the reserves for a few matches and the strikers are scoring 2 to 5 goals each and getting 9 and 10 ratings at which point I bring them back to the first team and relegate my other good players to the reserves then they start scoring goals. My first team is 5th in the league 2 at the moment and when I started with them they had £100K in the Conf. 4 seasons later now have over £6million in the bank, with the board allowing £2.8m to spend but the really decent players won't come. I think I have good enough players, just got to get the right tactics and setup.
