Opposition teams making bids and enquiries for my players is doing my head in. There are just enquiries and bids coming in every single day and it's driving me up the flippin wall.

Just have a look at the number of messages I'm getting.

Is there any way to try and reduce this a little.

The players concerned are all classed as indespensible to the clun, all unavailable for loan and the asking price has been increased by 500% in some cases.

Whatever I am doing isn't working, beacuse the bids, enquiries, and media comments keep come rolling in each day and it is driving me mad .

Are they big players at a small club? Either way, sounds like you're doing well for yourself. Would you rather be struggling at the bottom of the league and have nobody interested in your squad?

I agree I hate the enquiry next day bid withdrawn 2 days later enquiry again grr.

I've got this as well. I've got five players in my squad who get multiple offers every day. I've done the same - indispensable for the club, not available for transfer/loan, asking price of £10m.

I've found that a media "hands off warning" comment usually cools things for a bit, but that's about it.

I just write the opening bit of what I want to say so that it's clear what is inside.

As the saying goes, "it does what it says on the tin".

I could always just put "OGFGZZZZZZ!!!! This game is CARP. Sort it out SI" on every thread.



Swarfega. I'm doing reasonably well, (2 promotions in 5(ish) years, but I honestly don't think the players are worth of this sort of attention. It's EVERY SINGLE DAY and it's for just about every member of the squad on a rolling basis.

If they are valued at £1,000 then I can understand that there might be some interest, but by me setting their asking price at £500,000 I would have thought that it would put of the casual enquiry. They still enquire though, but then are put off when I reply with the £500,000 that I have them already listed as.

On the plus side, it makes it very easy to find your posts - there's only about 3 threads from the last few months other than yours that stretch to two lines of title.

I hate it when you keep getting £60k offers for players valued above that, you negotiate and they flee.

...Then enquire two days later again.

...Then go to the press and you issue a hands off reply.

Then they come back with an 'improved offer' of £65k, with £40k of it split over six months of payments.

I find this very annoying, I think Southampton and West Brom have enquired about 5 times each over the summer for one of my strikers, each time I've told them I want £1m, which is his set asking price.

Yet they keep coming back every few weeks to find out if I've changed my mind. Would be nice if the AI would check their asking price in these situations before pointlessly enquiring for a player when they already know the price.

Judging by the dross that I'm served up on a weekly basis.
