It is irritating when the AI "forgets" that you asked for £500k, and the enquires again. And again. And Again......

Why let us set a value at all?

The other thing I've noticed, (and it might be having a bearing on this), is that when you "set transfer status", you get the following oftions.

Loan status.

Available for loan.
No status set.
Unavailable for loan.

Transfer status.
Transfer listed.
No status set.

Where is unavailable for transfer? It was ther in FM07 wasn't it?

Is it something as simple as this that is causing this problem.

It's really getting beyond a joke in my game .

If it was there as an option for unavailable in FM07 it didn't work because I used to get just as many enquiries.

The main annoyance of this is I have to in and negotiate to 100m every single time to make them withdraw. If I reject it they will often become unhappy no matter what club it is or how important they are to my team.

I complained about this last year and is one of the reasons I stopped playing FM2007 (along with the mountain of other junk in your inbox).

I was glad to see they resolved part of the problem by splitting the mailbox and irrelevant news items up but the constant enquiries/ridiculous bids need to be looked at as, once again, it lessens the enjoyment of the game.

I was experimenting with some replies and ignored some media comments. It backfired though as the club put in a sneaky bid of less than half the price that I had the player listed at, the chairman accepted over my head, and he was gone .
