I have to admit that im glad that big brother rubbish is back on tv now. it gives me an hour or two's peace every evening when the bird is watching it. as i dont have to spend quality time with her i can concentrate on getting kildare county into europe.

God dammit, wait till your 47 and are still playing, eventually, they (female species types) give up and resign themselves to doing what's best! Ignoring the sad old git in the corner!

Well wait until your 55 and your younger wife calls for the men in white suits.

Apparently she's telling them that I am shouting and swearing at my PC and mentioning many players names with expletive deletives.

As a NUFC fan she thinks it's just about preferable to me watching them live but only just..0.o

Thank god for Jane Austen/Charlotte Bronte DVD's...

FM08 is certainly not without its flaws but here I am, in my mid-to-late twenties, married, with a sensible career job in London. And what have I done? I've rung in sick today because I'm too addicted to my current game managing Gillingham to actually go into work today!!

Yes, I'm a very tragic individual, but I'm enjoying this game at the moment.

I hope I'm not the only one.

'Yes dear' is the secret of a happy marriage.

At least at work (when on call) I can play FM to my heart's content. It's a good way of keeping the mind alert at 3 A.M in the morning!

Its alright for you young uns, I'm 58 and been hooked since the first game in 93 when I had (still got) the Amiga. At least I have my own room upstairs with 3 PCs set up. At least she knows where I am, and not out on the town getting sloshed or worse. She gets to hog the telly downstairs and I get to play FM all evening. Even when I hate the game I can't put it down. Now and again she will put on that old song by Napoleon XIV, There coming to take me away Ha Ha. and turn the volume up. (I must have been ranting about some stupid penalty miss). Oh Well. just one more match then I will come to bed.
