I have won the league cup with liverpool in a dramatic encounter with Arsenal, but what seems to strike is how the media, or board for that matter, reacts to stupid things. for instance, in the semis (of the league cup), i drew with Man Utd at home 1-1 and beat them 1-2 at the old trafford, which means I go through on a 2-3 aggregate. but at the end of the month, when i recieve the board confidence update, they said that (i cant remeber the full sentence but something like) "we are pleased with the your management of the team, however we are dissapointed with the 1-1 draw with Man Utd and it will take the fans sometime to forget" ???????????????
either thats a bug, or i have a bunch of d**** for chairmen.
true. but it seems really odd for someone who knows nothing about football to not at least know that although u won the cup its more than okay to have drawn a leg with a club on your way to winning it!
