Ah pro rugby manager. I still cry at the money I wasted on both of the games they did. A great idea but implemented by blind code monkeys. I know lots of people are complaining about 'bugs' in FM08 but if they really want to experience an unplayable game they should try Pro Rugby Manager.

The original, unpatched, release wouldn't let you get past the first season because of a bug.

I'd like to see a Rugby Management game. If taken on by the likes of SI it would be amazing. Yes research would be difficult but I'm sure researchers from the now defunct Pro Rugby could be lured over. The research with it was never the problem, it was the way the game had been designed. SI have done hockey and baseball games, I'm sure they could manage Rugby.

The market would be nowhere near as big as football but there is one. Specially if they managed to time the launch for one of the six nations.

Hmm, as someone has said this thread should probably be in a different area of the forum though.

And Richard76, what's wrong with being gay? You say it like it's an insult. Is homophobia tolerated on these boards?

lol - out of interest is there ever any chance this game could be made by SI?? (hint hint anyone from SI care to answer?) Just would be a great game, and with England coming 2nd in the Rugby World Cup and the game growing throughout the rest of the world (portugal for example) it might be a real good investment
