Sorry mate, maybe i wasn't clear. It was other idiots a while back when they announced there would be a new game this year and people were speculating it to be a Rugby Manager, it was people who then said there weren't enough "attributes" I think there are just as many as football and i prefer rugby to football so...

The main reason for SI not making such a game is that there simply isn't the demand for such a game. I would love one but if you look at the in depth detail that SI go into in terms of research and wonder if these researchers would be available in the rugby world. I think not.

well thats what i was thinking, there are not enought people demanding the game and not enough researchers do produce a really good game, so we might just have to wait 5-10 years for one to even start to be developed which is a shame

you don't see many rugby players diving or rolling around on the floor the only none queer footy player i can think off the top of me head is Stuart Pearce, all the rest seem a bit limp-wristed to me!!!

not that i dislike the sport, but rugby players are far from queer, unlike some other sportsmen!!!

i think you could probably find a researcher for each club if they weren't incredibly picky about it...like i go to Edinburgh Rugby games and WAS a season ticket holder for the last 6 years, but because i'm not this season (due to the Carruther Brothers and the situation of Edinburgh Rugby being unclear so i decided against risking my money if the club wasn't going to be around) i wouldn't be able to be a researcher despite being entirely able to judge the players for their skill - i do still go to games this season...

If they really tried they'd find enough people to research but yes the demand thing is a big issue i'd guess

i remember that actually. they were saying the only attributes for Rugby players is "Stregth", because rugby doesnt involve skills or anything else.

yeah...was very annoying...didn't seem to understand passing goal kicking kicking kicking power aggression decision making etc. would all be skills + many many more as well as the normal ones for football (with shooting swapping for finishing ability e.g. wingers diving in)
