When are they used ingame? the ones along the top banner are normal size so where are the huge logos (120 X 120)? I have installed some but can't check if they are working as I am not sure where they should appear.

They are used in the wizards when you start/add a new manager and are also used on the news screen in news messages to do with clubs (feeder request, scout reports etc...)

Can these be used in place of the medium sized one?

Yes but you'll need a skin with a header big enough to show them.

You just need to copy the logos from the huge folder into the equivlent normal folder.
