Whenever I have created a new player and given him a full playing history or edited an existing player to a new club, I have never been able to adjust what I assume are his hidden game and goals settings.
By that, I mean I can edit his playing history under the section in the editor and it will be reflected in the history section of his profile.
But if I create a player who has scored 200 goals already, when he scores in the game, it will be recorded as his first ever goal. In addition, no matter how many seasons I place in his history, he is never classed as homegrown
Likewise, if you move Thierry Henry (for example) to another club then at some point very soon in the first season it will say that is his Xth goal for the club and count his Arsenal stats for his new club.
This obviously doesn't happen when the player is transferred in the game.
Am I the only one, and if not, is there a work around for this?
