I've used the FM editor to create a new database, but when i try to scout this new game with the FM Genie Scout, it comes up with "Access violation at address 00598A71 in module 'FMGenieScout.exe'. Read of address 00000000."

Can someone help me out please?

To my knowledge, there is no reason that the program will not work with an edited database and there are some posts on Genies website to confirm this. Perhas there has been some corruption of the database which the program is detecting. If it continues, log on to Genies website ansd ask him the question and he will advise.

Does anyone know how i can get the scout to work with the editor.

when i try to load up saved game on scout it says "list capacity out of bounds (-1)"

open FM Genie Scout and go in: Help -> About
there you will find the url where you can report the problems to the program's creator (and download the latest version)

Im getting this error with an edited database..

And this error has been there with all my edited databases with all versions of genie.. Works fine with unedited database though..
