I made a Super League with team swapping but my game seems to crash on it.. I made a save and the problem was that it crashed with an errpr on the Community Shield.
Okay, so I started a new save.. it worked fine, until the 2. leg in chapions cup, just after the Community Shield.. another crash, but not with an error.. the game just dissappeared. What could be wrong? Here are the .edt and .ddt file I used.

And a 'retain.ddt' file to retain all players in the teams

I know it'S not perfect and all.. I just want to play one to two seasons like this, what could be wrong? What am I doing wrong?

Could it have anything to do with that I swap one teams actually two times?

For example;

"SWAP_TEAMS""713""679"

and

"SWAP_TEAMS""728""992"
"SWAP_TEAMS""665""728"


What could it be? Sorry if its been posted before, or anything similiar.. I just don't understand the search system here O.o

I know that in previous versions like FM06, there was a problem with too many teams from your league in the Champions League/UEFA Cup. I got around it by, in the editor, unticking the european competition from each team in the league, except for the top four for the CL and next four for the UEFA. You can find that box in the editor under "clubs", then "competitions". Just uncheck it and that team will not be in Europe and will be replaced with a team from a different league. Hope that helps.

Thanks for that, I'm trying yet another save right now, removed duplicates teams in "SWAP_TEAMS", and I'm one game from the "crash spot" from last time, if it crashes again, I'll do what you pointed out.

Or simply disable europe by changing the TLA of europe from EUR to OCE

Anyway, if you're talking about Three Letter Name under Europe in Continents, then I can't change it, it's greyed out.

In the editor, click the edit button next to it, yes TLA = three letter abrievhation (spelling)

Did the TLA thing work for you?
I seem to remember Steven helping me out with this problem in FM06 and it worked back then.

But in FM07 it doesn't seem to work. I made the Mexican league base for the superleague (because they have 2 competitions with playoffs a year!). So swapped all the teams and it went great. Made a test run and it all seemed to work fine except for the fact that no team had an u21 or u19 squad. So I made all the teams Mexican. And then the trouble began. The game, of course, crashes (when exactely I dont know because I just used the Swedish league to begin in march 2007, easier testing).
I've now tried the following:
- Changed the TLA of North-America to OCE
- Changed the TLA of both North- and South-America to OCE
- Changed the TLA of both North- and South-America and Europe to OCE
- Changed the continent of the North- and South-American cups to OCE
Nothing worked so far. I'll keep trying stuff, but does anyone have a suggestion ?

Same happened with me trying to put the american leagues. Tried everything I could think of but couldn't get the game to run. Tried with different leagues as well, Poland Norway Scotland South Africa. Never give Mexico a go mind so that might be an idea but simply lost patience
