I spent 3 days playin with the editor, testing each incremental edit to a few months in,. I replaced northern ireland with my country an changed all the teams, stadia, towns etc and many of the top players to make it all my world. I even got the country playable so i can manage a 3rd division team or take the helm in the world cup qualifiers. It was great fun doing it all, i tweaked it an tuned it over the 3 days and it looked so pretty in game. I finally decided to play it through and after 5 months it just crashed to desktop.
Eh well it was a blast doing it all

Im using FM05 BTW but i hope im gettin 07 for my birthday in a little bit, this was a last blast dig into gettin the most out of my old game.

I turned n. ireland into my own little nation based on the teams from North Lincolnshire making it a nation of its own, I brought in the teams from the english leagues and created others (accuratly where possible and fantasy where not). It was a blast but i wish i could find a ways to make it play past the 27th of september!

Northern Irish teams play in the All-Ireland Cup, and they also have regional leagues.

On Fm06 I noticed the best nation to overwrite was Armenia and Andorra, although I could never get Andorran players to have non Spanish names so I mainly used Armenia.

It's easy to do, simply go in with a hex editor, find the offending names and change their nation to null(0000 hex) and the game will not use them.

Ahh so thats where I went wrong, I would like the nation playable, this is my first venture into any forums on editing. Im self tought so have missed out on many areas.

I skipped buyin 06 an am now lookin into 07, i think im gunna leave it till the patch and have another go at makin my own nation.
