My player gets a great pass and has lots of time and a huge space where he can run with the ball. But it's all useless because my payer usually stops until opponent players catch him and take the ball. Is there anything I can do about this?
Other thing I was wondering is that why on earth do 90% of my crosses hit opponent players?

Why do my players stop after receiving the ball? Post #2
I would also be intersted to know why. My guess is it has to do with the player's creative freedom. I think I've read somewhere that if creative freedom is too low then the player will dwell on the ball. So maybe raising it a bit would help. Can anyone confirm this?

Does the player have Likes to dwell on the ball as a PPM? I know Leroy Lita does and he's always doing this for me. Really annoying at times, but he still scores so I don't mind too much.

Maybe hes set to hold up ball, or normally I find its a creative freedom problem and it will be set too low.
yea this seems to definitely be a tactical problem, i can't say its because of bad attributes etc, as time after time i witness much lesser opposition players being smart and going forward with the ball.
