4-2-3-1 development

hi guys as you can probably tell from the title of the post i play a 4-2-3-1 this formation has brought me lots of success with villa finishing 1st in my 2nd season. i think it is a well balanced tactic but i would like to know what people on the forum think its strengh and weaknesses are and how to improve those weaknesses sorry but i am a bit crap with computers so i don't know how to post screenshots but if someone would tell me how i would be happy to post them.

mentality: usually about 16-18 for teams i expect to beat easilly e.g new promoted

usually 14-16 for teams i expect to beat but not hammer e.g mid table

usually 13/14 for higher mid-table teams e.g 5th-8th or temas i consider to be my equal when playing at home

usually 10-12 for temas i consider to be my equal when away or teams i consider to be superior

CF: always 10

passing style: 6

tempo: varies from 1-4 depending on situation e.g slower when defending lead late on

width: 11-13 for teams i expect to beat
8-11 for teams i consider equal or superior

CD: 10

time wasting: 10

defensive line: 6-10 ( this is one of my biggest concerns as i have always found d-line hard to judge)

tackling: 10

focus passing: mixed but do occasionly change to down flanks if im up against a 4-2-4 or 4-4-2 with long farrows

marking: zonal

target man: unchecked

playmaker: unchecked (do not know wether to give this to s.petrov to pull strings from the middle)

counter: no

offside: no

opinions and suggested improvements on my tactic would be much apreccated.

also if you would like to see screenshots of this tactic; like i said at the begining if you tell me how i will. also if you want to try this tactic out for your selves just tell me how to upload it and i will do it as soon as i can.

also opinions on how to improve my future posts would be more than welcome as i am a relative 'newbie' lol

won the first match 2-0 away, 2 from AMR Agbonlahor. do you have any arrows forward for any players? i did for AML and AMR.

do you think you could upload the tac to fmdownloads? i dont know if got it right. 4-4 against charlton

nope i haven't personally tried it but i thought that having forward arrows on aml and amr mean that they are too far up the pitch so they are sort of stranded from the attacking dm and amc did you find this or did you think it worked well? also did you any adjustments to the team or player instructions that worked well
