In my current game i'm managing macc town, i've just got promoted to the championship and the target man I used for the past 2 seasons is now past his best, hence im searching for a new one.

my question is which is more important heading or jumping, when it comes to increasing the number of headers won?

for headers won jumping would be more important

becuase jumping means - the heighest height a player can reach(regardless of tallness)

and heading is how well he can direct the header

Whs aston said jumping is important. However a few other things can help even more. Attributes like strength, bravery, anticipation will make a great target man.

cheers guys, so applying this thinking to a center back, jumping would be more important attribute than heading?

Playing in the ECN, I just picked up a target man on a free. He has jumping 16 and aggression 16, most if not all the rest of his stats ar less than 10.

As a target man, this dude is awesome! he has a rating of 8.25, and scores a fair few at corners. I would say for sure that Jumping is fair more important.
