Let me understand this you got lucky and managed to beat Barca away. Then you decided to create a thread indicating your luck and thirdly you're advising people to try your tactic because of one game.

for god sake. wot are your surnames Hitler and Satlin.
Most of the other posts i've read when someone finds a good tactic most people just say "ok i'll give it a try"
Right i play 4.4.2 att. that means my wingers are in advanced position. I've played it from start of season and i'm top of league by 15 points (by Feb)
Try it or don't try it i'm not really that bothered.
It is good though, i've had loads of help in past so i thoguht i'd return favour.

in Euro cup i won them all apart from drawing against Porto away and my 2 Xi play my cup games, still in FA cup but out of carling cup.

Well, the guys were just trying to get more informtation. I think the way you presented yourself was a bit stalinistic yourself "This is my tactic, TRY IT!"

I don't try tactics from here but if you want kudo's from others you need to present good evidence of how the tactic worked as well as how you changed it to counter teams and tweaked it throughout the season.

Don't take it the wrong way, it's meant as advice.

The reason i took it the wrong way (i apologise) i've read loads of posts before about people that have found a good tactic and shared it and people just said i'll give it a try basically. I've never seen anyone ask for team/player instructions before.
I've been playing Football Manager/Champman for about 8 years and taken alot of advice so i thought i'd repay it, i suppose i was a bit vague.

I also imprison people in Siberian prisons for little more than spelling my name wrong, shoot 10,000 Polish army officers and then have the cheek to tell the Polish government that they're "on their way" and then kill another 10,000,000 people by forcing them into collective farms.

It is common courtesy and forum rules to provide at least some basic information about the tactic. On a base level it will make more people want to try the tactic - I play 3-4-3. If you've created a 5-1-4, why would I want to test yours out. Nearly all posts like yours will have people asking questions. I have never seen a thread where everyone has blindly gone "I'll try it out, thanks" without anyone asking about it.

I know I'm an evil tyrant (I like to think of myself as a Mao or a Deng Xiaoping myself) for asking for a bit more than a link and a good result, but your post is useless without a bit of information. Nobody can help you improve this tactic or get anything from it if they don't know how it works. It might not work with my team, but if I know what it's supposed to do, I can make some changes and post my findings, which will in turn help you.

When I seize power in the Oktober T&TT Revolution and force through my Cultural Revolution, people like you will be put up against a wall and shot just because I feel like it. Or I might gas you. I haven't decided yet. My Maoist tendencies make me want to force you to work in a paddy field for 18 hours a day, but I'm getting a boner just thinking about it, so I'll stop now.

lol. i was feeling really really really very very nice (and seriously bored) and decided to try this tactic despite the lack of information, since you seem to have good will.

and so... in summary;
1. this tactic makes use of both a playmaker and a targetman, to which i suppose can be used or ignored.
2. i suggest that the MLC is the playmaker, he is given a freerole as well and has a fRarrow to AMC position.
3. i think that the FRC is the targetman, he holds up balls
4. its basically a 4-2-2-2 formation, MLC has fRarrow to AMC and the AML/R has farrows.
5. overall, its a pretty attacking formation. the back 4 however, provides a good amount of defensive output.
6. the MLC can be regarded as a the MCd i guess, since its mentality is 2 notches below average and has through balls set to often.
7. yes, this formation uses counter attack

only played 2 Games with it;
1. WIN vs Wigan @ HOME, 2-0 [7shots.3ot.53%poss]
2. LOST vs Arsenal @ HOME, 1-0 [8shots.4ot.50%]

from observing from the two games, the attacking is alright, and defense is pretty decent. although i'm not sure if it can cope with bigger teams

i was considering putting on the instructions etc. but i really couldnt be bothered.. seeing that this isnt MY tactic nor that the person who created this tactic bothered to do so.
