Is anyone else finding the friendly games tough no matter the opposition, in every demo game I have started I am having very poor friendly results then starting the season with a bang, just wondering if it just me ???

No its not just you. Thats the way the game is. When you first start with the team, they need time to start gel together and understand each other. I think that's a factor in the game as well. If you have a lot of quality, they'll all start showing it sooner rather than later. Just give it time and also, before the season starts, try to play as many friendlies as you can (dont overdo it obviously!). I ignored it in my first game and was doing real bad. Then started a new game and organised more friendlies and by the time the season started, they were beginning to do a bit better and are starting to come together now!

The problem is that only a few days after the start of a demo you have friendlies and you play a gray team with player at 100% with a bunch of players at 75-80% and you often underpreform

That's why I try to cancel the early friendlies and play less games but go into the season with a bunch of less preapered but rested players

I had this problem for the first few games of the league too because I only had 1 scheduled friendly and all the teams I proposed games with (poor teams so that I could win) rejected me so I wasn't ready for the start of the season.
