Are the following player worth the ammount i can get them for.

Fernando Belluschi - £8 million
Jermaine Defoe - £8.5 million
Dean Ashton - £10.8 million
Joleon Lescott - £8 million
Darijo Srna - £5.25 million
Claudio Maldonado - £6.5 million

I am a Sunderland Fan and my mate is a Newcastle fan on FM 07 we had a competition over 4 seasons who could do the best and we both started with £50 million each these players cost around that ammount is it a good use of £50 million as i want to beat him this time as he won our game last year. He posts in some other forum so i though i would ask you guys for some help.

Sound Good to me - i would also say you should add Sergey Ignashevich to that since he is free

I tried him on my trial run on the demo and he signed for Sevilla instead god damn it lol. Van Der Vaart is an option for £15 million but thats alot of my £50 million gone on one player.

Srna seems to have good stats but unless you play wing backs doesn't seem to suit full back or being a winger.

But if you can get him to play well

They're all good.

Srna plays OK at RM, but I'm not sure he can do it in the Premier League. Maybe look for someone else if you were planning to play him at DR because he wasn't even good enough to force his way into my Leicester side in that position.

In order:
Belluschi - Have never looked at him.
Defoe - Yes.
Ashton - Yes. (Ashton and Defoe should work perfectly together.)
Lescott - Nope, go for Agnashevich instead.
Srna - Unless you're planning to play him RM then no.
Maldonado - Yes.

Don't get Lescott, he just never does the business in this game.

I signed Kerlon and Augusto for Man City and they have proved to be great buys. I payed 5m + a 10% sell on free for Kerlon and 4.7 + 10% SOF for Augusto. I signed Maldonado for 700k as his contract was close to expiring in the first season so before you buy him look at his contract details. Curtis Davis is a great signing too for 6m he is my highest rated player in every season. Becareful not to sign too many young players as the away form can be poor and you are prone to go on runs of losses. My form was ok in the first seaon just missed out on europe and in the second season got in the CL Kerlon has doubled in value and everybody is after Davies

£8 million for Belluschi is to much. He becomes class, but you usually can buy him for about £6.2 million (about €10 million). Also I would buy Aaritalo, he's amazing and only costs like £75.000.

I wouldn't pay £8 million for Lescott, just don't think he is worth it tbh.
