Just recalled Patrice Bernier is possibly on a free at start of game and Kirill Pavlychek in january for about 50k if he's played enough internationals etc... appeal if he hasn;t and you may still get him. Horacio peralta is also free but mainly as a back up.

You need to get rid of players big style to reduce your wages. Sell or even giveaway anyone you dont need and terminate youngsters contracts if you fdont need them etc... only Rose and one or two others will come good anyway and you need money NOW!

I have just spent my £1.2m you get given at the start but I still feel the need to improve. Can't seem to shift any of my players (no-one wants to buy them!) and the board won't give me any more money.

I was just wondering if anyone could direct me to some free talent. Loans, free transfers etc.

P.S Managing Leeds and trying to get them promoted first season is really hard. Either that or I'm doing something wrong!

yea jay its very hard to get them promoted 1st season. Here are the players ive signed and loaned in

steven naismith attackin mid/forward - id recommend him to most 300k
didier digard defensive mid - highly recommended 240k you get arsenal chelsea barca... after him after a year or so

benoit costil 12k highly recommended young goalkeeper

just won 1st game of the season against hull 2-1 at elland road. This is the 1st time ive won my opening game with leeds after the 5th try lol im actually shocked and ive just warned the players not 2 get complaicent for the next game

sorry forgot to add i havent sold any players im finding it difficult. I think i might have a good tip though. If say you want to get rid of healy for the cash transfer list him and offer to teams for 0. That should spark an interest from clubs. Then once they come in with that 0 offer reject it. The remain interested in him but put the value back up to his normal price. The clubs remain interested and im hoping they make a bigger bid now ive put the asking price back up to the normal 1.8m. Just thought it was worth a go seen as though someone in the official leeds thread got alot of money by doing this and it helped him gain promotion. Good look

Ive been beaten by southend next game 3-1. the board say their extremely dissapointed even though i should have won the game! this is abit unrealistic for the game. My performance is already been judged after the 2nd game of the season

this game is p***in me off. My next game was against derby and we got beat 3-2 with 9 men they scored in the 87th min to win then after that we outplayed coventry but couldnt score it was 0-0 until 88 mins and they won 2-0, il disagree with any1 who says theres a harder job than been leeds manager, it is nearly impossible to do well in the 1st year
