Default Norwich in Premiership (season two) - Who to Buy?

At the end of the first season, I've been promoted with Norwich by beating West Brom in the play-off final in an incredible match!

Anyway, for next season (with a budget of around £10million), I need:

A left-back.
A young center-back (under 23 if possible).
An experienced goalkeeper (for back-up).
A young goal-scoring striker (under 23?).
A central midfielder.

Also, I'd like to spend about half my budget on youth or reserve players, so any players of this type at the end of season one/start of season two to recommend? Thanks in advance.

P.S. Here's a screenshot of the play-off final. I scored my 4th goal with the very last kick of normal time, and took the penalties first, so was just one penalty away from going out - but fortunately my goalkeeper kept me in it!
Hope that screenshot worked, as I haven't used photo bucket before.

Thanks in advance!

Gunter from Cardiff for £500k? Yes or no?

Also, just closing a deal for Stephen Thompson from Cardiff on a free transfer.

Is it possible to get Danny Simpson/Phil Bardsley/Chris Eagles to sign permanently for me, as they've been great on loan for me? How much would they cost normally?

for a keeper maybe charles itandje (sp?) from liverpool

in my burnley game i got promoted in first season and bought him for 1 million as back-up for gabor kiraly but he played immense for me in 2nd season after a while. solid keeper.

also lafferty is a quality player. was worth 100k in my first season then when in 2nd season he was worth 5 million by jan and arsenal wanted him!

i also bought gunter and hes a pretty sound player and go for billy jones too. can get him for about 1 mil and he's pretty consistent for me

hope this helps

Thanks both of you!

I'll have a look at Bertrand, especially as we've signed him in real life now :p

My last-minute goal-scorer, and penalty hero Rene Mihelic was sold by my board for just £1.9million - very realistic of Norwich's penny-pinching board some might say! I also lost Doudin to Middlesborough for £3million, but neither were regular starters, so I can cope hopefully :p

Finally got rid of Chris Brown as well, for £500k :p

I managed to sign Barkroth for just under £1million, and hopefully I'll be able to get Stancu/Lafferty or a similar player in.

I signed Gunter for £525k in the end - which should be a bargain! Bardsley joined Middlesborough, but I got Simpson on loan for the season. I've put in hopeful loan offers for Crespo, Nani and Mikel, but I'm not expecting much there to be honest...

Back to real life, and what do you make of Glenn Roeder and his signings so far(particularly Friday's) ncfcgr8?

Camara and Pattison are great players at this level in my opinion, Bertrand will be very decent competition at LB (hopefully the end of Adam Drury, as good as he has been for us, I don't think he's up to it any more),and if we can get a few more players in, and close out a deal for Taylor, we may push for the play-offs next season.

Centre Back, got to be Nordveit from Arsenal, I got him for Preston for about £2.5m although that was with 40% of next sale to Arsenal.

I've signed quite alot of players by the start of season two, as I like to buy young players (especially from England), and nurture them.

Anyway, my main signings in season one were:

Gabriel Torje - £575k, and now Chelsea are interested in him.

Kamil Grosiki - he's not featured much for me yet, but will be a star player soon. £50k.

Pavel Kalouda - signed for £300k, but was behind Torje and Grosiki in my plans, so sold him on for £600k with a sell-on and buy-back clause.

Rene Mihelic - sold at end of season one by my board for just £1.9million. He wasn't first choice for me though, so it's a good deal in the short-term. Long-term, it's disastorous for me!

Charles-Andre Doudin - also sold by my board, but he wasn't in the squad, so £3million was good business.

Colin Nish - GREAT signing. Cost me £100k from Kilmarnock, and scored 16 goals for me.

Dado Prso - £10k from Inverness in January. His first goal was in the penalty shoot-out. Now he's injured for 5 months. Still, he did a pretty good job when I wanted to close out games. Not a great signing though.

Chris Eagles - season loan - top scorer with 18 goals.
Danny Simpson - loan
Phil Bardsley - loan

George Elokobi - £150k from Colchester. Good squad player.

Cor Gillis (defender)- £20k from Anderlecht. Another good squad player.

David Tomazic Seruga (midfield) - Cheap, and a decent squad player.

Sibusion Dlamini (midfielder/atriker)- signed in January for £100k, socring 3 in 18 appearances (most as a sub). He's quite old (27/28), so I sold him to Barsnley for £600k at the end of the season.

Ari Nyman - £200k from Thun. My first choice CB - alongside Bardsley

Odejai-Ofoe(sp?) (defender/midfielder)- 12 month loan from Anderlecht with a view to a permanent deal of £12k. Very good back-up, but he's not agreeing personal teams with me, with just a few days before his loan expires. He's now worth £500k, so need to agree a deal quickly.

Silviu Ilie - Another cheap signing, and my first choice LM for most of the season, as Huckerby was injured.

Out: Jason Shackell (season loan to Wigan), Matt Gilks (free), Mark Fotheringham (free), Doherty (£70k to Luton), Drury (150k to Barnsley), Ostemobor (100k to Doncaster), Russel (£450k to Burnley).

My first choice team for most of the season was:

GK - Marshall
DL - Murray
DR - Simpson
DC - Nyman
DC - Bardsley
ML - Ilie
MR - Torje
MC - Brellier
AMC - Eagles
S - Nish
S - Cureton
