Is this a bug? I send out my scouts to search eg england and about a month later it says "after scouting England, "scout x" has found 0 suitible players" i keep on sending them out but they keep on finding nothing!!!

There are issues with scouting but they tend to be when your club outgrows it's reputation through successive promotions. The scouts still find players from the lower divisions. Not sure why your problem is appearing, maybe your db size? Try the other forums as nokem suggested.

Well, my Deuterium Sinthetiser won't be ready until five minutes and after that I'll still have to wait some hour or less before I have enough metal and crystal to upgrade my Solar Plant to level 4. [/geek]
So, yeah... I'm quite bored.

I'm in season 2009 and i've gone up sucessive seasons, but that was back in 2004-2005 my db is normal (i think)

I'm having the same problem...
I'm in 2010/2011, playing with a large db with England Ireland Scotland and Wales all active, with the most leagues available from each.
Normally, in June, I'll send a couple of my scouts out for about 3 months, to make sure they cover the period where players are released from bigger clubs, and I used to get scout reports all the time, but now a scout can finish his 3 month assignment finding just 7 players. (if I'm lucky.)
I am one division above where we started. (Conference S -> Conference National) and in 2007/2008 I won promotion to League 2, but came straight back down the next year.

On my basque save my scouts dried up round 05/06 season and won't find anyone on a search even if their lifes depended on it.
I'm told changing teams gets this back to normal, but as I have developed a liking for my no-hopers I'm not going elsewhere.
