Basicaly I want to manage a club from a lower league. But After reading the 'LLM Rules, Guidelines and Links etc' thread it has confused me.

I have used the editor in the past to update on transfers. e.g Al Jolson to Newcastle. But in the rules it says to start a game without messing without the editor. So should I uninstall the game and re-install it?

And then I read something about not looking at the transfer page......
So in other words all players that I buy must be scouted unless they are a free transfer.

Anyone willing to clear things up for me will be much thanked.

1) Naming players isn't allowed...at all.

2) Edited Db's aren't allowed...at all

3) Downloading and installing 3rd Party updates isn't allowed...at all.

Isn't LLM a whole lot of not allowed's? :cool:

Answer to your question, fella. Better to uninstall and reinstall your edited Db because it can foul up bad in later seasons.

Bloomin heck! I can't name any players at all! Another question, sorry, does that mean I have to use fake players in the game-there is a butten which you click that makes fake players up I think.

Some do some don't. I find that if you turn on fake players you get a lot of people with the same name.

I play with real names but mask attributes so you have to scout players to find out about them

Not naming players is just a forum rule. It doesn't have anything to do with your own game as such.

Frank sent me to Uruguay where the entire footballing population seems to get by with 3 christian and 3 surnames in various combinations. Confusing doesn't even come close. My ambition is to field an team of identically named players to **** the ref off.
