Look, you've been told, League 1 isn't LLM. If you don't like that, then that's tough.
Lower League is clearly defined as starting in the lowest available division in any given Nation.
It's that easy.
| Not to nitpick, but this is the Lower League, not Lowest League Forums. :p I can understand his confusion. That slight difference in wording chose my to start with Division Three in CM03/04 game instead of Conference.

| And a brief read of the LLM Guidelines thread before posting would show that "Lower League" equates to Conference North and South.
Ignorance of the facts is not an excuse here.

Just to save you the effort of reading the link that Quinny's given (like you would anyway), I'll just reiterate what Ian said. Quote:

| I have no reason to wind anyone up, it's just that the laws of LLaMa ing aren't very consistent and can be hard to follow at times.

They obviously don't want to hear about Port Vale here, so don't press the point.

Not trying to start anything, so cool your jets. Your own guidlines state some non-lowest divisions are, and I quote, "LLM-ish". Which implies acceptable, if not preffered. If you only want to hear about Conference North & South here, consider changing the guidelines.
I'm just pointing out that I can understand his confusion with the guidelines and the name "Lower League" not "Lowest League". And that's even with someone reading the forum headers.

How hard is it to follow the guidelines on selecting a team. Quote: |
By definition, a Lower League Club must come from the Lowest Division available in any given Nation
| i.e. Conference north/south, Scottish Division 3

The laws of LLM are very few and very clear: no cheating; no use of editors. Official SI updates only. All LLaMas start a game in the lowest league in a given country.
Almost everything else are guidelines. Each LLaMa plays the game in a slightly different way to another, as it is the spirit of the game which is important.
I fail to see what's so difficult to understand.

| Jets are very cool, thanks. When the flames appear, you'll know
The point is that all LLaMaS start from the lowest possible division - as I said before. If a newbie wanted to have an initial go at playing LLM, then we say that - sure - try a little higher up the leagues to get a feel for the way the game is played, but when you decide that you like playing LLM and want to get involved here, and you want to post an update thread, then do like all other good LLaMas do and start at the bottom.
Is that clearer?
