I think he is upset at the implication that Port Vale, being in League 1, is lower league which has already been discussed as not acceptable for this particular forum.

However, good luck should you decide to start again with Northwich, it will be entertaining and challenging.

In the rules it clearly states: 'League 1: Really Pushing It' Which to me means it's just about ok.

The acceptability scale is based on the old league structure of versions prior to FM in my opinion. Since the addition of Conf North/South I personally feel that League 1 is unacceptable. However, if you have a crappy PC and can't run all the leagues then fair enough.

Ah, well my PC is 3 years old.

Just to clarify, do you not let people play in the top divisions if that's the only division, yet that's not really much of a challenge is it? Whereas playing in the third tier is frowned upon. Meh.

Look, you've been told, League 1 isn't LLM. If you don't like that, then that's tough.

Lower League is clearly defined as starting in the lowest available division in any given Nation.

It's that easy.
